Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Stinger has an aerodynamic, sleek, and stylish design. It's speedy and modern, and you can choose GT-Line or GT2 trim levels. The base GT-Line has a sculpted hood with side vents, angular headlights, heated power-folding side mirrors with turn signals, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-season tires, and dual exhaust. There's a rear door where the trunk would normally be for more cargo room, and you can add a sunroof with a power sunshade. The GT2 comes with auto-dimming side mirrors, a smart power rear door, summer tires, red Brembo brake calipers, and 19-inch wheels.
Engine (Power)
The GT-Line comes with a turbocharged, four-cylinder 2.5-liter, engine that gives 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The GT2 has a twin-turbocharged, 3.3-liter V-6 that offers 368 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Both engines have eight-speed automatic transmissions with paddle shifters for the steering wheels. They can stop and restart automatically to save fuel and prevent idling in traffic.
Performance
The Kia Stinger has outstanding acceleration, a smooth ride, and maneuverable power steering. Both engines have five driving modes: smart, custom, eco, comfort, and sport. With the 2.5-liter engine and rear-wheel drive, you'll get 22 mpg in traffic and 32 mpg on larger roads, and you can reach 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. With the V-6 and all-wheel drive, you can go 17 mpg in urban areas and 24 mpg on the highway. You can get to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Premium fuel with at least 91 octane is required, and the fuel tank holds 15.9 gallons. The GT2 has an electronically controlled suspension that can adjust automatically to changing road conditions.
Interior
The base GT-Line comes with a 4.2-inch driver instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. You'll also get SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, a nine-speaker audio system, and sound, phone, and cruise controls on the steering wheel. Wireless charging, push-button start, remote start, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are standard as well.
With the GT2, you'll get a 7-inch driver instrument cluster, a head-up display, a power steering wheel with memory settings, and a HomeLink universal garage door opener. Multi-color accent lights, a 16-way power driver's seat with lumbar settings, and a 12-way power passenger's seat also come with the GT2.
Safety Features
The 2023 Kia Stinger comes with forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keeping assistance, lane departure warning, and advanced front airbags that can work with different levels of force depending on the speed of an accident. You'll also get smart cruise control, driver attention warning, a rearview camera, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, and rear parking assistance. The GT2 also has blind-spot monitoring and a Surround View Monitor with images from four cameras.
